Water Weight is still significant after the start.

So most people know that the first 5-10 lbs lost after a lifestyle change with more exercise is usually water. But I noticed that water weight still plays a role well into the weight loss journey. Sometimes I can balloon up to as much as 3-5 lbs of pure H2O! It all depends on your salt intake, gender (women can retain even more water) and recent activity level.
I found weekly weigh-ins demoralizing and biweekly or two times a month to be the sweet spot.
