Weekend Success

When the weekend comes I always find it difficult to eat healthy or exercise enough to make up for not eating healthy. I think the lack of routine is a big factor for me as well as spending more time at home where I am tempted to reach for the fridge. Also, Socialising with drinks or food or both is fairly common.

How do you manage your weight loss or fitness regime at the weekend?

Give me your top tips for staying on track but not giving up your social life.

    If I know that I am going to be going out in the evening, I will typically eat a little lighter and hit the gym to give myself some margin for the extra calories. Usually, even when I go out, I try to stay relatively healthy, but if I'm really feeling like splurging, I do so. It doesn't happen often, so I don't sweat it.

    I schedule my weigh in for first thing Sunday morning keeps me on track have to face the dreaded scale if I over imbibe

    I always eat lighter during the week to give me more room to indulge at the weekend. I also do longer workouts - I have more time available on weekends, so it's hard to make the excuse not to.
