Loving the app! Cyclist from Boise, ID

Competitive and fitness cyclist here, from Boise, Idaho. Not that I need yet another app to track my fitness and performance metrics, but I really like MyFitnessPal. I'm currently using it to ensure I'm meeting my carb/protein/fat ratio goals, and also reducing my calorie intake to get down to race weight by March. Currently burning about 1000-1300 calories a day on the bike, with a caloric intake of 1,800-2000 cal a day. Progress is slow and inconsistent, as my body is fairly fined tuned at this point and at a comfortable equilibrium.

Cheers,

I'm so bad at macros! MFP helps, but I need to pay better attention. :)

I'm a non-competitive runner and cyclist from the East Coast. And I hear you about the 'fitness app' overload. I use several as well. I like MFP because I can view most of my data from each fitness app in one place. Anyway, nice to meetcha!

Nice to meet you as well! :-) I love data so I don't mind wading through it in my apps. Right now my main training app is TrainingPeaks (web, phone, and client-based software). I use the web version for quick stuff and that is how my coach interacts with me and creates my plans, and then I have WKO4, which is the software client-based program for TrainingPeaks. Below is an image of a workout in the online version....there are a lot more reports and ways to dice and slice the data as well, by interval, overall, etc. Pretty cool, and a lot of fun in light of meeting my goals.

I'm from Boise as well! Not a cyclist (broke my pelvis and can't sit on a bicycle seat), but I compete in bodybuilding in the Boise area.
