Scale discussion

I know I need to be weighing myself more often, so I hopped on today - the first time in 7 weeks. I'm down 4lbs.
Although I'm happy for the loss, I feel like such a slow loser! Maddening. Hopefully committing to a daily weigh-in will help. I weigh my food and track daily, but feel like actually getting on the scale will help me in the long run, and keep me consistent.

I think weighing daily is somewhat important. Say you have put in what you thought was perfect logging only to found out you have not lost anything. 7 weeks of hard work down the drain. Weighing daily gives instant feedback. Use trendweight.com

It's a mixed thing. On one hand... You could have lost more... It likely indicates your food estimates are low or your exercise estimates are high. If you were goaling for 1 pound per week... Goal for 2. If you're already goaling for 2... Get a food scale and check your estimates... Start getting honest with yourself. Finally... 4 pounds is 4 pounds. At 4 pounds every 7 weeks you could lose 30 pounds in a year... I'd say that's a very acceptable result.0
