Garmin Step Syncing

Does anyone know how to get my Garmin VivoSmart steps to sync with MFP? Both apps say that they are connected, and the food/calories will sync, but not any steps. Would love to get this tracking on both! :)

    I had this recently; I disconnected MFP from Garmin then reconnected and it's been good ever since. Takes a while to sync though, and can need told to do it a couple of times...

    Hey, I have the same problem. Will it sync previous days when it gets set up correctly? How will you know that's it's working? I've unsynced and resynced and still don't see any step updates. Thanks!!

    This worked for me to.... I also hit the sync button on MFP a couple times and they usually link up correctly
