I keep seeing this word macros. And people talk about meeting your macros. I have no idea what they mean by macros and how it fits into a calories controlled diet. Thanks!

Macros are protein, fat, and carbs. They don't directly affect weight loss, but can affect satiety. In other words, some people may feel more full on less calories with more protein, some with more fat, and some with more carbs. You should also make sure you are getting enough protein and fat, as they are necessary for many functions in the body.0

Macros will also dictate what portion of your weight loss comes from fat and what portion comes from muscle and water.0
