Calories burned too high or Should I start eating more?

I'm on a 1200 calorie diet but my meals are usually around 300-400 calories each. I exercise for about an hour each day and mfp usually estimates my calories burned as really high so I half that number it gives me. Lately I have been having a really huge calorie deficit due to workouts. Like today I went hiking for about 3 hours and the calories burned it gave me was almost 2000 so I halved that and now at 5:00 before dinner I have a net of 1300 calories I need to eat. I don't want to over or under eat but this isn't the first time it will give me such a high deficit.

Most of the food I eat is low calorie now especially since I switched to lower carb alternatives. Such as low carb bread. Usually it's towards the end of the day and I realize I have all these extra calories I haven't used. I feel fine otherwise but is there is over estimation of my calories burned even when I half it?

If you're eating lower carb, then you should be eating higher fat foods.... Which are calorie dense. Whole eggs, full fat dairy, nuts/butters, fattier cuts of meat, oily fish, avo, coconut products, cooking in butter/coconut oil, drizzling food in olive oil etc.... Calories will add up easy
