Does anyone use a green powder they can recommend? I am going to need surgery and will not be able to eat anything other than pureed/liquid food for 2 weeks. I won't have a problem getting my macros in but eating veggies, and getting their micros, is going to be an issue. I really don't want to have to resort to baby food or juice and have been hearing about the powdered supplements I can add to my yogurt but don't know much about them.

Any suggestions? I only need this for 2 weeks.

I'm not sure where you are geographically/financially, but Whole Foods has a kale powder in their bulk section. It's super fine and would probably mix into yogurt no problem. I've used it in smoothies, and it adds a green taste to the drink, but not overpowering. It's a little pricey, though.
Cheaper option: If you have a blender just throw your yogurt, raw spinach and some liquid in there.

It's probably all in my head, but blended veggies (no matter what else is in there) remind me too much of the baby food that made me gag when I used to feed it to babies.

Eat baby food lol. It's only for two weeks right?
If you want something you're not going to taste, go the smoothie route. 1 handful of spinach + 1/2 banana + yogurt + a little liquid = blissful ignorance. Over the years I've grown to like the 'green' taste so add extra spinach or more flavorful greens. It does look like baby food, doesn't taste like it. Kinda like how melted chocolate looks like mud.

Bioglan super greens is good, it contains 81 different ingredients and tastes like tropical juice. Good luck with your surgery, wishing you well x

Don't forget about low-sodium v8's. Now they have v8 splash juices that might also be good. Just another thing to drink.
Buy some prune juice. Twice I have had surgery and my system has the worst time moving things.

I use one from Amazon... NuGreens I think it is.

Another thing to do would be to make smoothies. Blend handfuls of spinach and such with some fruit and either water or milk. You can't taste the veggies!

I promise you can't taste it! I used to put three whole cups of baby spinach in with a banana, strawberries and water and all I could taste was the banana!

"Paradise" Brand, Orac-Energy Greens. There is one with protein, and one without. 40,000 total ORAC per serving.

Amazing Grass makes some really good ones. I like the seasonal Chocolate Peppermint flavor the best. They tend to be about $25-$30 a container.1
