I got annoyed that all the names I wanted were already taken so I typed in this name in a bad mood and it was free so I kept it.0

Back in the 70's my parents got it on, and my mother became pregnant. Approximately 9 months later, they had a child, of which my father help up and said... "He shall be called, KC". Those parents last name was Huskey. And although rare, they decided to also make that their child's last name as well. That child was me. Therefore it's stuck. My name is kchuskey.0

I was living in Nebraska and met my wife, who lived in Southern California, online. She wanted to know what I would do when I moved to San Diego. I said I would open a surf shop. She said there are so many, you need a gimmick, something to bring people in. I said okay, I'll name it BDGFN Surf Shop and Day Spa. She asked what is BDGFN? I said, Big Dumb Guy From Nebraska! It stuck.0

Years ago, Team Estrogen sold t-shirts with a replica of a yellow warning street sign with a graphic of a slug on a bicycle on the sign, and the words, "Warning: Hill Slug." I'm a hill slug - it will take me forever to get to the top of that hill, but I will get there. 98239 is the ZIP code for Coupeville, WA, a tiny town where I lived in for several years in my early 30's. Because the user name HillSlug is usually already taken, I default to adding the ZIP code. Thus far, I have not yet encountered another HillSlug98239.0

From the saying "A gentleman is merely a patient wolf."
I love the imagery and truth in this statement. We are all animals, regardless of the civilized traits whe choose to adopt.
I can be both a gentleman and a lone wolf. I believe in honour, truth, hard-work, discipline, and other gentlemanly values. But I'm also wild and animalistic. I often prefer nature to people, feeling the elements to being comfortable, and if you're part of my pack I'll rip any attacker to shreds to protect you.0 -

Odile (French) is my first name and blonde is in Spanish 'rubia', my nickname in the Dominican Republic where I lived for 14 years and where I was one of the first real blondes in town. Born in the Netherlands, adding rubia always reminds me where I really feel at home.0

Last year I was training to run the Grand Canyon, my first ultra. I was putting in work and kept thinking of RuPaul's song "You Better Work."

The song that I think about when I start to doubt myself, though, is Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger!" My pajama-jam!0
