Calories burned doing aerial arts?

This is a long shot but I figured this was the place to ask...
I just started taking aerial classes (think silks, hoop, Cirque du Soleil stuff). I can't wear my Fitbit HR while I do it because I'm afraid having something around my wrist will snag the fabric, but it is a damn good workout. If I'm climbing it gets my heart rate up, and I'm doing a lot of hoisting my own body weight. I'd like to manually log this exercise, but I'm not quite sure what the calories burned would be. I was think similar to pole classes, but not sure.
Anyone have an idea?

i do aerial yoga and aerial hammock
i looked up the MET and i forget what it was exactly or even where i found it, but depending on the intensity, i put between 200 and 400 calories/hr. a lot of it is strength and so it's not quite as high a calorie burn as we wish/think it should be.
also the HR is only good for steady heart rate monitoring, not so much for aerial work. ( I do wear my vivosmart but it has nothing to snag the fabrics)0 -
When I do aerial I use the strength training/weight lifting option. Like the other person said, it's more resistance training than cardio, so you're probably not burning that much.
The amount of time I put in depends on how hard I feel I worked in class. "Easy" class where I had to share a silk or didn't push too hard I put probably 20-30 mins. Even a hard class I would probably only put 45mins (my current classes are 1h) because I'm never spending every single moment working on the silks.
I want to earn a few calories back to eat, but I don't want to overestimate my burn, so I usually err on the low side whenever I record exercise.0 -
I do silks and trapeze. I usually just log it as "Weightlifting" as to not over estimate. Probably not the most accurate but it will do. I also wear my Vivosmart HR and it has never snagged the fabrics. However, it does get pesky on upper wraps.0
