Eat your normal foods, just less of them, and fit them into your calorie goal. There are a ton of food items you can fit into your goal.

Without any idea of what you like, what your preferences are, whether you're coming in over or under your goal right now, what your time commitment or cooking abilities look like, that's a very vague question and it's going to be tough to give specific answers.

    ^This

Measuring and logging your typical foods will give you lots of information needed to keep the weight off. As you log "regular" food you will be surprised (good and bad). Some things will be like "whoa that's a huge number of calories" or "that portion is ridiculously tiny." Only you can decide what's worth changing or not.

Example - I love cereal. But, the real portions are much smaller than I'd imagined. Now my breakfast is Greek yogurt with some high fiber cereal (and chopped nuts) sprinkled on. Much more filling too.

Just tweak things as you go. Adding veggies to recipes is a great way to expand a small portion size. Example: Alfredo with broccoli and chicken or mac'n cheese with cauliflower and pasta.

I eat approximately 1800 cals a day and it's very manageable. Here's an example of what I eat:

Breakfast: 2 scoops protein powder, PB2, water and ice
Mid morning snack: apple with a tbsp peanut butter
Lunch: salad with grilled chicken, veggies, and low cal dressing
Afternoon snack: baby carrots with a 100 cal guacamole cup and a cheese stick
    Dinner: Stuffed peppers
Post Workout: protein shake or cheese cubes and apple & PB

what do you mean you cant do this? thats not a very good attitude! do you mean you dont think you can eat that much, or that little? i beg to differ, either way....

eat the same foods you always have, just less of them. work out. eat less. move more. so simple its hard ;)

If you have an eating disorder, therapists will tell you that this place can do more harm than good.
You need to "un focus" food.
