I weighed 233 on Dec 27th, 2015.
I weigh 222 now. It's been 4 weeks and now my weight loss has slowed down. My husband thinks it could be me gaining muscle but it's still depressing since I still have 70 more pounds to lose..does this happen in the beginning?

Many people have a large loss (mostly water weight) at the beginning before they settle into their actual mostly-fat loss.
Weight loss is a slow process. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Don't be depressed about losing 11 pounds in four weeks. That's great! It will go more slowly from now on. Just stick with it.0 -
Your body will start to even out a little after the initial loss sometimes. I know when it happens to me, I step the cardio up. Also...once I had a month of good eating and working out with almost no change. On a Sunday, I ate 1500 more calories than usual. The next week I lost two pounds......
If the scale doesn't change sometimes other things will tell you what you are doing is working. I know mine is seeing how much better my jeans fit.0
