Cheat Days?

What are your thoughts on cheat days?
I have been sticking to healthy eating meal prep and exercise for a couple weeks now. I've been way under my calorie limit and some days I'm fine but every now and then I just can't seem to get full. I think hey one day of a lil extra something won't hurt but I don't wanna feel guilty for eating more than I should. Do any of you guys have the same probably and how do you deal with it or do you just go along with a cheat day?

Best way to start calories is to eat low but make sure you are full, big mistake people make is losing weight through an unhealthy diet. Your diet needs to be at a stable amount so when u lose your weight you can stick with it0

PS: If you're using MFP correctly, it's not really a calorie limit, more of a calorie GOAL. Being under doesn't make sense. It's even CALLED a goal.0 -
I don't do cheat day because I tried it before and it made me feel crave everything more.
Now I just have any food that I like when I want, just make sure to make it fit in my food schedule.
I find this works way better, I don't go over my calorie goal, I always feel satisfied and I don't have those awful cravings.

It depends on what works best for you. Some people can do a cheat day and it works for them. If the idea that you can cheat on Saturday keeps you from binging the rest of the week, then that works. If going rogue one day a week causes you to cheat a little every day, then it doesn't work. I have found cheat day works for me ONLY if I am RELIGIOUS about my diet the rest of the week. I can still lose weight. A 4,000 calorie day once a week doesn't all get absorbed into your body. A lot just passes through. Plus, I sometimes get a carb "hangover" that kind of helps me to moderate the next cheat day. Finally, for me, it's a mental thing: If I don't eat this rack of ribs today, I can eat a boatload of ribs on Saturday. Then, when I get to Saturday, I've built these ribs up in my mind to such a high expectation, they fail. I sit there eating all the while thinking "Hm. These aren't that great after all. Why was I tempted to throw my diet away for this?" So, for me, it helps break the shackles certain foods have over me. But that's just me. Everyone has to find their own way.0
