Hi everybody

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, does anyone use the MFP paid food tracker ? If so, do you like it and if you don't like it, why? I can't locate any good info on this I can look at different stuff about it but it doesn't seem complete. I can't even find the cost of it.

Thanks and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this

From what has been gleaned on the boards, the only real advantages are:

    No ads
Ability to set macros by gram rather than %
Ability to set different calorie goals by day.

There were other features, such as "exclusive member content" but thus far (in the 12 months + it has been running) there's been all of one update of that and it was also public to non-paid members.

The cost depends on location, but sits around $50 a year.

Importantly, all the glitches that occur also carry over to the paid, so the actual reliability and experience isn't any better.

I've lost 75lbs with the free one. If you're just starting out, use the free one until you decide whether the benefits are worth the spend.

Why pay? I got a pop up blocker and works like a charm. Any calories I save a certain day, I add them to saturday manually (sat is my drinking night).
If you feel guilty, go buy something by underaarmor. I think they own this.
