if I eat the calories that myfitnesspal adds automatically for steps (not exercise)...just regular steps from my Fitbit... will it decrease my weight loss?...or slow it?

That depends on how much you're burning and how much you're eating back. I get big burns so I must eat all of mine back as to not dip below 1200 net calories. I am not having an issue with losing weight.
Example: if you're eating 1400 cals, burning 200 and eating those 200 back for a net of 1400, that's not too bad. But if you eat back more than that 200, it might slow down weight loss.
