Hello! I'm Meg, a 37 year old now living in Oregon. From my highest weight of 320 about five years ago, I slowly lost 50 lbs with small changes. In October of 2015, I started getting more serious about changing my life and health habits forever and took off another 20 lbs. I'm down from a size 30/32 to a 20 and just about to leave extremely/morbidly obese for just obese.
Then, 2 weeks ago, I took a bad fall while roller skating (I know) and broke my leg. I am now 1 week out from leg and ankle surgery. All this means good health and good eating are both more important and more challenging for the foreseeable future. It is a bit frustrating to feel halted just as I was really starting to enjoy walking and working out. But I am NOT ready to give up.
I'm looking for support in the journey, and folks to help keep me accountable.
Glad to be here!
