Getting started on my weight loss journey.

Looking forward to weight loss through healthy eating. Currently following a low carb, lien meats & veggie diet. Any tips or advice?

Right now since you are just starting out focus on being consistent on your daily logs and being honest to yourself about what you are eating. Don't worry about the scale it will drive you crazy. Welcome add me

If you make your goal at least 40g of carbs a day, through veggies, fruit and nuts, you should see some positive changes on the scale. I would take your measurements too. Sometimes the scale doesn't budge, and people get discouraged. You will find when the scale doesn't show a change, the measuring tape will.

Don't give up.... cut out crap... pop... sugar.. keep eating like you already are and sometimes that scale won't move but keep going... measure as well as weigh weekly :)

Depending on how bad your diet is, it may help to make smaller goals. If you can't start eating 100% healthy overnight (and stick with it) try cutting out one bad habit at a time. No soda, then no candy, then no red meat etc.

I find it very helpful to add friends on here - I don't like to talk about counting calories with people I hang out with, but it helps to communicate with people going through the same thing. Feel free to add me.
