Do I just need to cut down?

I've put on some weight over christmas. I'm not sure how much as I haven't weighed myself but I've put about 2 inches on around my waist. I have been eating a bit more since I started my new job too.
I don't have time or the energy to work out, I work 6 days a week and am on my feet for about 11 hours a day. If I just cut down on my food, will the weight come off?

First, weigh yourself.
Second, two inches on your waist could be 5 pounds, could be 20. Depends on your body.
Third, yes, eat fewer calories and you will lose weight. If you want to do it right, use the tools on MFP and follow your calorie allowance. Log every calorie properly and your weight will come off.
Fourth, you don't need to workout to lose weight, but it does help with burning more calories so you can eat more.0 -
Fat accumulation around the abdomen is usually classic case of too many carbs. Keep Carbs below 100 grams/day, and watch your calories.0
