Losing Inches but not weight!?

I have lost like 3.5 inches in the last week or so (hips and waist), but the scale is stuck.. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Don't worry about it as long as you're losing inches. Maybe you're just building muscle which supposedly weighs more than fat.

    By volume this is true. Stay off the scale for awhile! Keep doing what you're doing, you're on the right track... (IMHO)
  • Yea, looks like you're gaining muscle right now. Muscle takes up less space than fat, so if you're losing inches and the scale isn't budging, you're replacing fat with muscle. That's good!!

    Stay off the scale for a bit so you dont get discouraged.

    This is not uncommon. Like everyone else has said, stick to your diet and exercise routine and you'll see eventually see the wait drop. Remember that weight is the only measure of success.
