Question about exercise

When do you consider to be officially out of a normal sedentary lifestyle to a more active lifestyle like light or moderate? I used to be a coach potato but now I been working out like 3-5 times a week at the gym or if I can get to the gym I walk 10 minutes three times during my workday to get at least 30 mins. Just curious.

If you're referring to picking an activity level so for various online calculators for calorie budgets and what not, I would start with light and see how that goes. Over time, I've actually had to adjust it from light to heavy (even though I work at a desk all day). There may come a time where you'll build enough lean muscle to where you have to adjust the activity level because your body is consuming more calories (muscle burns more calories than fat in a non-active state), so you will need to eat more calories to continue building/maintaining lean muscle.0
