Since last Saturday, weight hasnt budged at all.

Rather went up from 223.6 to 223.8 and fat was down from 26.1 to 26 but fluctuates.

Everything is normal right? Haven't changed anything at all, no cheat meal either. I just make sure every might I meet my protein requirement and before going to bed I walk until I am like couple 100 calories before my goal of 2400 a day.

All good or I need to switch something? Started all this on Jan 1,2016

If you are measuring what goes in and you are sure that your intake/calorie count is pretty close to exact then it's all good. Nothing in weight loss is linear. Quite possibly water weight from muscles repairing themselves from the lifting. I would give it a solid month before making any judgements or changes.

I lift heavy & weigh daily. I've noticed a trend:on my rest days, after 4 days of lifting per week, my weight is up. This week it was up 1 lb. Today it was down 1.2 lbs. water weight comes with lifting, it's repair. Especially if you are new to lifting. Keep at it & be diligent with logging carefully.

It's only been a couple of weeks and you've started a new exercise program so it could be water weight. That said, it hasn't been enough time to start switching anything yet imo. If you aren't using a food scale and are guesstimating calories, then you should switch that and start using a food scale to weigh/measure everything that you eat/drink.

A fluctuation of .2 in 4 days is a nonevent. It is perfectly normal. I can fluctuate a few pounds in that amount of time.

I use weight scale and haven't changed anything. Not new to lifting but started heavier workout than I was doing before to retain muscle.

I guess it could be water weight.

A week is not a time frame...6-8 weeks is

Water weight fluctuates with change up in exercise, hormones (more so if females), sodium, carbs

A new lifting programme will definitely impact on your water weight

It can fluctuate by 5lbs naturally

This is me at maintenance...I log accurately ..my weight still varies day to day ...get on a trend site like trendweight.com, or download an app like libra or happy scale and you can weigh daily or weekly but track over a decent time frame

Thanks everyone for posting. Once again , you guys were right.

This morning I'm down another Lbs 222.6 from 223.6 and fat is down from 26.1 to 25.7% .

lol I wish the fat% was dropping faster than weight like at least 1.5-2.5% every week haha

Sorry but you need to ignore that fat estimate

It is ok to look at over months on a trend basis but not as either an absolute figure or on a week by week basis

Bio impedence is a very bad way to measure body fat with a margin of error of up to 10% points

are there any equipment for home use that would be accurate? 10% point is huge dammm wait it could also mean 10 up or down right lol I mean I know I'm not 15% bf tho lol

    Sorry no there aren't.

You could invest in a dexa scan which is the most reliable estimate and then have another at goal weight for comparison.

My preferred route is just to jump up and down in front of a mirror nekkid ..if it jiggles and isn't genitals it's probably fat
