Dexa Scan and changing body composition

I had a DEXA scan done to check my body fat and other measures. My total body weight is 179.5lbs and I am 21.8% body fat. I want to be at 12% body fat and closer to 170lbs. When I joined my guess was I was eating 2500 cals per day. It was likely much more varied and reason that I am having metabolic issues trying to lose fat and gain muscle. How can I be sure the macros are set to the right place? I am doing a great job on macros and calories but want to be sure eating this much and working out the way I do are on target.

General rule of thumb for macros:
Protein - minimum of 0.6-0.8g per pound of body weight per day
Fat - minimum of 0.3-0.4 grams per pound of body weight per day
Fill in the remainder as you best see fit.0
