How much should I aim to lose a week?

Hey guys. I've been kinda hanging out here for a few weeks and I have a question. Based on my ideal weight of 120-137 pounds how much should I aim to lose a week? I'm 5' and currently weigh 153. I've lost 22 pounds since October. I keep hearing about how 2 pounds a week is too aggressive for some people so I was just curious about what you guys think.

1 pound a week.0

1% of your bodyweight per week is the safe upper limit if you want to maintain as much muscle mass as possible and be healthy (note, for some 1% will be too fast if they find they are losing more muscle mass than they want to, but it shouldn't be an unreasonable amount if they are lifting) but you also have to factor in getting enough nutrients, which may also limit your rate of loss.
So, up to 1.5lb/week max, 1lb/week is probably more reasonable, but even 0.75lb/week would be good. 2lb/week is too aggressive.0 -
Thanks guys! I thought I might be doing it wrong especially since I would have to drop below even 1000 to lose 2 a week0
