46 year old working mom... Hitting the restart

Hi all! I'm a 46 year old mom of two young kids. I work a high stress mostly desk job. Used to be fairly active but really started to go downhill about 4 years ago due to shifting priorities and work stress. Over the last month I've started walking a good bit (I use a Fitbit which I love) and tracking my calories on MFP. It has helped as I am usually pretty accountable although I still mini binge on high calorie foods.
I have a history of back and now neck issues so vigorous work outs are not an option for me right now.
The most I can commit to is about 30 minutes of walking plus maybe 10-15 minutes of low impact Pilates type exercise a day.
If anybody thinks they have suggestions please feel free to share.
I have a ton of respect for people who have tried, failed and then tried again when it comes to weight loss.

There's this diet which is called the Sirt diet which includes foods that raise the metabolic rate of the body and helps maintain muscle. Have a look! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/healthyeating/11591828/Could-chocolate-and-red-wine-be-the-key-to-weight-loss.html-1

30 minutes of walking is really all you need and some PiYo is really all you need, along with watching your calorie intake.
46 and post back-surgery here, so I know how it goes. Our bodies are slowing down and we gotta work harder than ever! In addition to your regular walking and PiYo, you might look into getting some resistance bands. They're easy to use at home in spare moments to help build muscle.

Thank is so much! I actually keep a resistance band in my office. I've started doing some arm curls in between conference calls.
Have a Great week!0
