If you want cleaning to count as a cardio, you should make sure you sweat at lot, so make a lot of moves like if you were working out at the gym, and keep up the heart rate.

Or keep cleaning as part of your activity level and then go to the gym...

Sounds like extra work. I don't enjoy cleaning enough to make it go on longer then it has to.

sweat does not equate with weight loss.

housekeeping is included in your daily activity level, and is not deliberate exercise or something 'outside of the norm'.

Unless you are rich and have a maid, then cleaning is outside the norm.

While cleaning is easier to lump into your activity level for most people, there is no one size fits all solution when it comes down to how to split the logging. If logging cleaning as exercise results in the correct weight loss over time, then more power to you.

What about once-in-a-while long distance driving? I mean, that's not my daily activity and I'm talking about 4+ hours of driving (either one way or round trip) without counting the time spent in traffic.
