Free MFP app vs. Premium MFP app

I am a past MFP user but never used the community part of it. I am trying to get back on track. I am also a new Fitbit owner and have it linked to MFP. I am curious to know how many people buy the premium part of it MFP. Feel free to add me as well! I can use as many motivational people as possible!!
