If you feel as if something is a frequently asked question, doing a search for past threads may help you find more information as well.-1

I make it a weekly routine to have one meal with high amounts of carbs. It helps give me energy for the rest of the week. I only reduce my carbs a few weeks before competition. Your best bet for healthy eating is probably to just stay at a basic intake of carbs, unless you are trying for different goals in mind.0

Unless you're in contest prep or doing a refeed, there is really no point to carb cycling in terms of weight loss. Sure your water weight will fluctuate, but in the end you lose the same fat (or gain fat) whether your calories are derived from a high carb diet or a low carb diet with the same calories ingested.0

Hi I did Chris Powell choose more lose more type carb cycling. There used to be a thread in motivation and support forum called carb cyclers unite that was very helpful.
I did it for a year. So it's doable long term.you just keep repeating every four weeks with a slingshot week.
There are man different types of carb cycling tho especially if it's for competition or body building is very different. You google and research it out there's so much. But I found Chris Powell method was easy to comprehend and follow and first time I never needed or felt a need to cheat or felt deprived/starving. It helped me with portion control because what I thought was a normal portion ( healthy) I was eating 2 to four portion! Lol unless you want to do that for calories but then I wondered why I can't lose? Well that was it!0
