Weird pain...

Okay so bit of a strange one.

For about three weeks I've been experiencing pain when sitting/lying down on a hard surface. For example if I lie down on the floor, my ribs dig in, a hard chair my "butt bones" dig in... can't be in any of these positions. If I'm doing sit ups, I can feel my spine digging into the floor. It's very uncomfortable sitting on a wooden chair for example.

Don't have the same pain in bed/padded chair etc

Also if I accidentally hit my hip bones or something it's also quite painful.

Now my bones are sticking out a bit more than usual, I've lost about 20kgs over the past 4 - 6wks, but am by no means skinny at around 130kgs (f, 5'8)

I've never experienced anything like this, surely it can't be that there is just no cushion of fat protecting certain areas..? Skinny people can sit on hard chairs as far as I know!

I realise this is a medical thing and will be seeing a GP this week, just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar, has any ideas?

Noticed the same thing after I lost a LOT of my "padding." Unfortunately I think it goes with the territory!
