I went on holiday and I MAINTAINED!

Just got back from a 10 day trip travelling with my family cross-country to visit various relatives. I had limited control over what food was on offer, no way of managing portions through weighing on scales or anything like that. I tracked every day but it was a vague overview of what I ate with a number of quick add cals when I just had to estimate (or when I was being too lazy to add everything!) and I didn't bother track yesterday. I realised that I had an improved mentality towards eating whilst away - I probably declined about 100 sugary teas, ate when hungry/stopped when full, but still enjoyed desserts, snacks etc.

I last weighed myself a couple of days before leaving, approx. 2 weeks ago - and I have maintained! I'm the same as before I left! I was hoping to not put on more than 2lb, purely because I've only lost 3lb so far (joined a month ago) so didn't want to 'reset' but at the same time I accepted that what will be will be and if I do put on more I'll just keep going and it'll be fine. Very pleasant surprise for me today

Gives me hope for the two other trips we have this summer!
