I havent done any exercise in the last 2 weeks due to a chronic foot injury ( Bane of my life ). However i have bern sticking strictly yo my diet. Im very disappointed today as i havent lost any weight but have lost inches around my belly, thighs and legs. How is this possible without exercise?

The lack of weightloss could be due to water retention, which often masks a loss. This could be especially true if your body is healing. If you're losing inches, you're doing it right. The scale number should only be one of many determine factors of weight loss.
Also, weight loss comes from mostly diet. Exercise is for health, appearance, and earning a bit more to eat. So as long as you're in your deficit, you will continue to lose with no exercise.0 -

This is so so true. In the last month I've eaten at a maintenance (or closer to it than I was) and whilst my scale says no change, my love handles are smaller and my hip bones are more visible, a positive change with no scale movement! Be aware exercise progress isn't instant, you could be seeing effects of workouts weeks ago0
