    I had hysterectomy 9 years back. I was post menopausal. I did not gain weight because of it. I lost some with diet and exercise. It is hard to loose and I easily put on weight but that has more to do with my age and thyroid issue. I am not on any hormonal therapy.

    I went through natural menopause and because of cancer scares in our family, hormone replacement was NOT considered. I found some relief from Black Cohosh.
