I'm trying to get my baby weight off. I exercise 5 days a week however, my boyfriend buys junk food and puts in plain sight. I'm a sucker for chips. It is hard being at home all day and seeing them especially with a 18 month running around. What do you guys do to avoid temptation?

Plan meals. I'm way less likely to snack on empty calories if I know what I'm eating for the day. Also, when I eat garbage I feel like garbage, so I try not to.

Hide the junk food ... it's bread for me and I can't not have it in the house so it goes in the bread bin with the lid shut so I don't see it. If I don't see it then it isn't there

Maybe pre-log your food every day? When I do that, I feel more of an obligation to not stray from what's in my diary. Sometimes I still do, but it's a little bit easier to stay on track.

Out of sight, out of mind! Put it all away in cabinets or the pantry or whatever. Also keep telling yourself that just because food is available does NOT mean you have to eat it. If it fits your calorie and nutrition numbers, then fine. If not, it won't be worth having it and then being upset with yourself afterwards.

Yeah. At the end of the day, you just got to want to lose weight more than you want the chips.
