I'm looking for a heart rate monitor, like the polar a360 or a Fitbit. except there's a twist. my friend doesn't have a smart phone, and his computer only runs Windows XP. lol. doesn't give me a lot to go on. does anyone have any reviews or recommendations for a computer only watch? I don't think there's any convincing him to get a smart phone.

My Fitbit came with a little USB dongle (?) that connects to my Zip via Bluetooth. I don't use it, but theoretically, I don't need my smart phone at all, I could just connect it via the dongle whenever I got on the computer. I don't know if your friend would need anything else to use Bluetooth though, or if his computer would have the necessary components already.

I love my polar ft7, it doesn't connect to a computer, I just add in the calories to mfp that it's told me I've burned
