In need of a little encouragement

So I have a history of giving up on this journey, for a number of reasons, but I've decided it stops now. I've been consistent with MFP and working out for a solid month and I am loving it. That being said....

Yesterday I had a bad day diet-wise. I went way over my calories and didn't work out as planned. I have dental surgery tomorrow that is going to put me out of commission for a few days and the anxiety of it is just making this a bad week for my weight loss journey. I'm worried that the combination of discouraging factors is too much. Any encouragement/advice you could give?

I think you just need to forgive yourself for that mistake and focus on the good. You had a very succesful month and you are going to continue to give it your all. Just be easy on yourself because it makes it worse when you start to beat yourself up for one mistake. When you feel good inside you are motivated to eat helathy, workout, and take care of yourself.

When the train halts, there is no reason it has to derail! Don't let a relapse turn into a collapse. Take care of your health then restart the engine.
