Good carbs and sugar

What's the best for good carbs and how do I stop eating so much sugar I eat healthy fruit veg ect but I seem to be eating a lot of sugar still

There is no such thing as a good carb or a bad carb. Food is food, the all over balance is what matters.
An ice cream here or there isn't a bad thing and contains yummy calcium among other things!0 -
Lower sugar carbs tend to be nonstarchy, often green leafy veggies. Higher carb or sugary veggies are usually the root veggies (carrots, potatoes, etc).
Fruits usually have more sugar. Grapes, dried fruits, and tropical fruits (dates, mangos, bananas) are the highest in sugar. Berries are the lowest. Looking into the GI of fruits will help you make your food choices.0 -
Brown rice? Whole wheat pasta? Lentils, beans, sweet potatoes, quinoa, barley, plain oatmeal?0

I don't think there's any such thing as a good/bad carb but I do think timing and portioning can make a big difference. Simple catbs like bananas or even candy are great after an intense workout to aid in recovery...just don't go nuts and eat a ton0
