Hi I've just join so I thought I dive in the deep end. Since I gave up work I've put a few pounds on about 15 lbs to be exact so not a massive amount to lose but it still not easy and hard work, I know the experts say diet and exercise but the number one thing they forget is WILL POWER with out will power I'm not sure you can succeed. I see there are a lot of our American friends on MFP but I can be the only BRIT who needs to lose few pounds. Good luck to all with whatever goals you have set yourself's but remember it takes a lot of will power not just diet.

    Don't worry your not the only Brit :p . I've been on and off here for a few years now. Its a fantastic place to be when you're trying to control your weight, lots of support and I can't rate the calorie counting food diary enough.

    Make sure you log everything and as long as you keep within your targets you'll be fine.

    Enjoy trying new recipes and your journey will be loads of fun.

    I'm a Brit also....only really using MFP to count calories and track macros though!!
