Hey hey
My names Mark, 33yo from Melbourne Australia.
I've been using MFP on and off for about 3 years (maybe more), but the last year I've been more serious about the process, ie weighing my food, splitting macros etc etc.

I've never been too overweight due to genetics/metabolism, but I was pretty unhealthy, always felt tired and usually had very little energy.

I feel like I've finally got the healthy eating thing down after a lot of trial and error, definitely not an expert but I think I know enough to offer help/motivation to anyone who might want it, plus I'm always up for making new friends so feel free to add me or ask me whatever!

You know, the best thing you can do is answer question from new members on these discussion boards.

I'd love some motivation! I've never been particularly skinny, but this past year due to anxiety meds I've fine from a size ten/twelve to a solid fourteen:( I'm trying to be serious about losing weight, but sometimes it feels like a losing battle....

It's definitely a challenge, and a very slow process. Just try your best and use this app religiously, its such a good tool to hold yourself accountable for those extra calories.
I never realised how many calories were in a small bowl of fruit and nuts for instance, I used to chomp them down thinking I was having a healthy snack, next minute I've eaten 400 calories. It's easy to get disheartened, but you WILL see results if you stick to the rules of eating less calories than you burn! You can do it :)
