When do you call goal?

I took your advice and use Trend Weight and am within goal sight. Do I keep losing until Trendweight says I've reached goal (which means going under goal to reach that moving average) or move to maintenance once the scale hits goal?

Whenever you're happy with the results. A scale # is one metric - but not the only metric.

You don't need to go under your goal weight for it to list it as you 'trend weight'. Once you maintain for twenty days straight your trend weight and your actual weight should be the same.

    Both the above.

I hit goal weight a 3 weeks ago, trendweight hit the goal weight 1 week ago. I'm still losing weight as my BF% isn't where I want it. I may have to lose an additional 5lb if my estimates now are correct. My original goal was set when I was obese, so if it is slightly off who cares. If it wasn't for vanity I could have claimed my goal well over a month ago when I had a normal BMI and BF% from 16-18% as I was healthy.

I'm going to go until I feel happy with what I'm seeing and feeling. Yes, I have a number in mind, but who knows? I could reach that and think I could go further or maybe gain a little back. A number on the scale is just that, a number. It doesn't encompass how I feel about myself or the clothes I am able to fit into or the non-scale victories I reach along the way.
