Diet went off track..so hard getting back on

I was doing really well, and lost 5lbs in a short time... And now I'm back at a point where I eat what I want and don't track anything.. It's hard to limit myself again._.

You have to make a choice about what you want more.

Since you say you lost the weight in a short time, did you rush? Was your calorie goal too restrictive? Choose to lose your weight at a rate you can sustain. Give yourself the maximum calories so that you don't wind up on the merry go round again.

You can still eat what you want. Just eat within your calorie limit (making sure it's not too aggressive a limit).

The occasional takeaway meal never hurts me. Moderation is key. Good luck.

Set your goal to weighing all of your food and logging accurately. Commit to doing it for 6 months to the best of your ability regardless of what you eat. That will get you in the mindset again. Don't worry about the scale or even exercise. If you stay within your calorie goal, you will lose.
