Does the amount you exercise determine the amount you eat?

Or does the amount you eat (or want/plan to eat) determine the amount you exercise?

Just curious!

    It is different for everyone. Personally I eat to fuel exercise.
    I can't see any sense in exercising then living my daily life sub-par.
