Hi All,

I'm about to be 54 and I am about 17 pounds over the top of my weight range. That may not sound like a lot, but it greatly impacts my overall health. In 2006 I had a gastric bypass. I was morbidly obese. I dropped 75 pounds. I'm just under 5' tall. I have diabetes, controlled by diet, an auto immune disease that impacts my joints. I try to eat a diet free of grain, sugar, & legumes. It helps me. I walk for excercise and I am lifting some light weight Dumbbells. In the almost 10 years, food is still an issue and my weight has gone up and down.

I am married and have raised two children. I would like to have a couple of friends to connect with so that we can encourage each other. Statistics show that accountability helps individuals lose more weight and keep it off.

Good luck to all of us waging war for our health and battling food demons.
