A day or two ago, someone had posted a recipe for making Brussels sprouts in the oven. Did anyone happen to catch the recipe? If so, can you send it to me? I'm not a huge fan of the little cabbages but if I can find a way to make them tastier, I'm all about giving it a shot! Thanks!

I don't have the recipe, but that's how I make them. Roasted is pretty much the only way the husband will eat green veggies.
I just cut them in half, drizzle with olive oil, season with sea salt, pepper and a little garlic powder and bake at 450 for ~20 minutes.0 -
that sounds like what I read. Thanks!0

Another good variation is tossing some onion chunks in with them and tossing it all with olive oil, a teeny bit of salt, and ground rosemary. I'm not the biggest fan of onions, but they turn sweet and delicious in the oven and it's magical. Also, the sprouts I had on hand at the time were frozen, so I dumped them in the pan whole. Yay for yummy lazy people meals!0

I did the same thing with my brussels sprouts I had on hand a week or so ago. Trim them, cut in half, put into a big bowl and drizzle in 1 T olive oil, 1/4 t garlic powder, 1/4 t Italian seasoning, a light dusting of salt and pepper to taste. Toss the brussels sprouts, oil and seasonings gently until well coated. Place on a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil and sprayed with cooking spray so they don't stick, and roast until desired texture. I like mine a little bit firm, but not quite crunchy. I cook them cut side down. To save more on calories, use cooking spray and seasonings rather than olive oil.0

pre heat oven to 400. Wash and then cut Brussels in half throw into a mixing bowl with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, chopped red onion and a few dashes of hickory liquid smoke. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.0

all these variations sound good. I think I know what I'm making to go with dinner tomorrow night!0
