I've been running and loosing weight consistently for the past 5 months

Up until now i would run in the evening then not eat afterwords but yesterday
I had a pot of cottage cheese and it changed my recovery substantially no more hobbling around after a long run
I mean i can still feel it in my legs but nothing in comparison to what the feeling was like before.

Do you guy's & girls have anything post workout and if so what do you have.
Just looking for ideas of post-workout food that is good value, lowcalorie and effective

Unless you're an ultra-competitive athlete looking for the tiniest of marginal gains then I wouldn't worry about nutrient timing at all. Meet your calorie and macronutritional goals however you wish over the day and you're golden.

There's no harm in following the old wives tales of pre and post workout nutrition, but as long as you feel good and you're happy then do whatever you like.
