Thinking of resting my shins and knees

Hello
I was thinking of taking a break from running until Monday
I have been running this Monday and Wednesday. The reason being my shins and knees have been getting really sore at times.
Today they feel slightly better but when I touch my shins it's still sore

I built my distance slowly and have been running for 10 weeks. I am not overweight. I have been getting shin splints.
I always stretch with dynamic on the front shins before I run and warm up with a 5 min brisk walk I ice my shins after the run with a nice ge pad0
