has anyone ever hurt the nerve bundle in their shoulder?
I have done something to mine and it is making my entire right arm miserable. Here are my symptoms...
-Tenderness in the shoulder. Can't carry purse on that side.
-"zingers" of nerve pain that run from the shoulder down the back of my arm to my elbow, this is intermittent, but man does it hurt
-wrist and hand pain, ache that is pretty much constant
-weakness in that hand, I have to have my 10 year old open bottles and jars
This has been going on for over a month. I have taken it easy on the arm. I have been babying it for sure, but not 100% use free.
I have stopped my daily push-up routine, but still do a daily elbow plank. I am also doing some tricep work and bicep curls. A few extended plank exercises, etc.
Any advice?
Should I see a doctor? If so, what type?
Should I 100% stop any and all arm exercises?
Here's the other thing...I am afraid to break my routine. I started in MFP in June. That is the same time I started working out. I do HIIT 6 days a week and have totally transformed my body. I have gone from a size 14 out of shape 195 pound 40 year old mom to a size 2/4 135 pound weight lifting, HIIT, healthy, and fit mom. I am so scared to get out of my routine for fear of falling back to the old me.
Please advise! Thank you!

I would get an appointment with your doctor to rule out anything bad happening. Secondly, if your diet is in order you should have nothing to worry about. Sounds like your body is telling you that you need a rest.0

Yes, see an orthopedic doctor or neurologist.0

Could be anything from a problem in your neck all the way down to something in your shoulder - and points in between. Lots of things can refer pain down into your shoulder.
Get it checked out at the first possible opportunity...0 -
Thank you. I will call my doctor Monday morning.0
