what do i measure/weigh. box doesnt specify.

If it doesn't specify, go with dry.
Most boxes will say "dry" or "uncooked" in the same area where the serving size is listed.
ie: serving size 2 oz (56 g) dry

Most pastas are 2 ounces of dry pasta. It usually yields approx. 3/4 cup of cooked.
