Pregnancy Goals and Settings

I stopped using MFP a bit before I found out for sure that I was pregnant, and I was wondering if there was a way to adjust your goals accordingly? So far, I've set it up with my goal being to maintain my weight. But, realistically, I know I'll be gaining for the months until I give birth.
Juuuuuust wondering.

This is something your ob-gyn should advise you about! He/she probably has views on how much weight gain is appropriate, so you can reset your calories and be sure your exercise level is safe. It's great that you're taking control of the process now, before you've suddenly put on more than you meant to. Congratulations on your pregnancy!0

You can enter a customized calorie goal to whatever you want. Just go to the "goals" page, click on edit, and type in whatever you want your daily goal to be - it doesn't need to be related to whatever "goal" (such as "lose 1 pound per week" or whatever) that you chose during set-up.
A good rule of thumb for a typical single pregnancy is to try to maintain your weight during the first trimester, add 100-300 calories per day during the second trimester, and add 300-500 calories during the third trimester. However, I agree that you should work with your doctor, midwife, or other trusted medical source to determine how many calories you should be eating for your particular health, current weight, and other goals.0
