to be honest, I can't recall any of the books I have read have been overly helpful. Personally, I have found that when I am making progress on recovery, it is because I am seeing a therapist or invloved in a group program that motivates me and keeps me accountable.
I have been reading Brene Brown, and even though this isn't specific to ED, it is generalized to alot of areas where I feel my eating disorder is rooted from (self-worth, authenticity, etc).
I will look over my book list, though. I can't beleive that none of the books i've read where not helful at all...0 -
It depends on the eating disorder you have but there are quite a few good books out there0

I appreciate all the input. I have been to numerous therapists in the past and have gone through in orient as well as out patient treatment. However I have still had the same struggles.0
