I am not happy with my body at all. I guess I am still having a hard understanding what is fat and what is not fat. I am 4" 11 and I weigh 140lbs. I don't know why my pants keep getting tighter on me. Every time they get tighter and tighter. Yesterday I had a trainer measure me and she said I am in avage. She said I am very Toned and can't find one ounce of fat on my thighs but I am worried that if I don't get to maintain of what I am doing it will turn into fat. To me all I see is fat in my body. I don't see any muscle. So if I am Toned is it normal for your pants or jeans to get tighter on you because its happining to me and its messing with my mental state of mind. To me when my jeans don't fit, my mind tells me I am fat. I want smaller and slimmer thighs not big thighs and I am having a hard time to get that. Please tell me its normal for your pants jeans to be tight if you are Toned and muscle

Your pants will be tight if your body fills them up. What's filling them up can be muscle or fat, there is really no way for us to know. Think about it: If a fat man and a muscular man both tried to put on a small jacket, it wouldn't fit either one of them. But the root cause might be different.

Did the trainer tell you that you didn't need to lose any fat at all?

If you are 4'11" and 140 lbs, then it is very likely that you have excess body fat. You haven't said anything about what you are doing as far as counting calories and working out.

Your jeans could be tight because of gaining fat or muscle or a combination of both or it could be water weight. We can't really tell you unless you let us know what you are eating and if you're doing anything for physical activity.

You need a new trainer. EVERYBODY has body fat.

If you guys want to add me as a friend and look at my food log. I have to say my eating isn't the greatest and you guys would agree. I actually just got a divorce and I am seeing this in a positive way because being married for 7 years my ex husband didn't like the fact that I ate healthy and came up up with so many excuses for not buying healthy food. So it seemed like my health wasn't his concern. I can't wait to get my self a job live on my own and buy the food I want to eat. But yeah my eating isn't great. As for my workout I have been doing Fitness Blender on YouTube and I also do yoga. I notice no matter what kind of workout I do, if its cardio or strength training I bulk up. I get bigger. I want a slimmer body.

I don't carry a lot of fat on my legs so if I gain muscle on my legs some of my jeans are too tight, but it takes a long long time for rhat change to happen.
So it could be muscle, but to be honest I think you probably have some fat to lose.
You have had body pods before, have another one to see where you are now and work from there.

A calorie cut of 250-500 cals may be what is needed.

Your trainers measurements are either off, or your trainer is saying nice things to placate you and retain your services.

    Cheers, h.

Okay. I just looked at your food diary. There are a few things going on.

First, you only started logging around the 20th of January. It's barely been 2 weeks, so you should give your plan some time to work.

Second, your goal does seem high for someone of your size. What goal did you put into MFP? Did you set it to lose weight or maintain? Also, what level of activity did you put?

You are pretty small, so if I were you, I would set my calorie goal to 1300-1400 per day (or set yourself to sedentary and 1 lb per week loss). Then, log any exercise you do on top of that and eat back about 1/4 to 1/2 of those calories you gain from working out. Try that for a few weeks and see how you progress (go by weight, measurements, and just generally how you feel about how you look). If you are losing too fast, feeling too hungry, gaining weight, or anything like that, then you'll need to change your plan.

You are technically overweight according to your BMI, so if you want a "slimmer" body, then you probably need to lose some fat, which means you need to eat at a deficit.

I put down to loose weight. I changed my goals now. At first I put to loose weight and my goal weight was 115lbs than I changed it to 125lbs. I changed my calories to 1400. At first it was 1900 calories per day. I will give this a try. Thank you for your help. I can never understand this whole health life style its very complicated and makes me give up and get fat because that's what my body wants is to be fat. Hopefully something will work
