    I have the garmin! I love it! However I did find that to get a more accurate count on my steps I had to hook it to my hip during a workout. I will say that if it were not for the inaccurate counting from my wrist on the elliptical I would not have been able to hit my goal of 10k steps in a workout as quick... by the time I figured out to move it I was putting in an hour trying to meet my 7500 goal (when I was really pretty much doing 10k in steps). I would run faster and faster watching the darn thing not even move a step prior to the hip change.
